My 3rd Anniversary - Bigger yet smaller

The art world is changing, growing by leaps and bounds yet the art community is becoming smaller and smaller. By smaller I of course don’t mean the populace but smaller in the sense that today your art neighbor, whether they be in Russia, China or South Dakota, are only microseconds away. We can share our art and thoughts with anyone anywhere as fast as it takes to click ‘send’. It was only a few years ago that I remember being totally impressed that I could send original art via second day from MN to CA. Today the art is already printed by day 2. DeviantART has grown by leaps and bounds as well, I joined DeviantART 3 years ago today and the quality of art today is even more amazing. I’m also impressed with all the new artists bravely up loading their creations for others to view, comment on and critique. With our art world becoming a closer knit community of brother and sister artists it is more important today than ever to be sure to be respectful of our neighbor’s art, their efforts and their creations.
